CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Tiger

Description: This is a Kids Martial Arts beginner’s class where your kid is orientated and introduced to the martial discipline under the guidance of our certified instructor.

What students learn: Martial Ethics, Discipline, Respect, Body Structure, Basic martial art drills, Reaction games, Hand-Eye coordination, Chinese Vocabulary, Arm work and Leg work.

Duration: 60 minutes

Lion

Description: This is the continuation of our Kids Martial Arts program after they have completed their basic training in the Tiger’s class

What students learn: Martial Ethics, Discipline, Respect, Body Structure, Basic martial art drills, Reaction games, Hand-Eye coordination, Chinese Vocabulary, Arm work and Leg work, Tumbling, Stranger-Danger, anti-bullying, Traditional Hand-Forms.

Duration: 60 minutes

Sparring Kids

Description: This is the self-defense aspect of our Kids martial arts class where they learn self-control and confidence. This class is supervised closely to encourage safety and non-injury.

What students learn: Awareness, Self-Defense, Self & Aggression Control, Confidence, Focus, Courage, Humility, Respect for others, Character building and Tournament Training.

Duration: 60 minutes

Kung Fu

Description: Introduction to our teens and adult Kung Fu program. This class built martial arts foundation for better executions of forms, agility and applications.

What students learn: Martial Ethics, Discipline, Body Structure, Basic martial art drills, Hand-Eye coordination, Chinese Vocabulary, Focus, Arm work and Leg work.

Applications

Description: This class emphasizes on the four major self-defense skills in traditional martial arts. They are leg techniques, arm techniques, grappling and joint locks skills.

What students learn: Self-Defense, Sparring, Sportsmanship, Confidence, Focus, Courage, Humility, Respect for others, Character building, Tournament Training, Sanshou.

Duration: 60 minutes

Tai Chi

Description: The traditional Chen Family Tai Chi form

What students learn: Ethics, Mental Discipline, Body Structure, Arm-work, Legwork, Tai Chi Basic drills, Breathing, Tai Chi Principles, Rules of the circle, The traditional Tai Chi Form, Weapons, Relaxation, Correct Breathing, Philosophy, Balance, Co-ordination, Harmony.

Push-Hands

Description: Sensitivity training Class

What students learn: Balance, Sensitivity training, Partner training, Countering force, Relieving tension and aggression, Stance training, Body Structure and principles, Self-defense, Using softness to overcome hardness. Calmness under tension training.

KUNGfitness

Description: Physical Fitness Class

This class combines modern fitness exercise and martial basics to built strength, muscle tone and cardio. It teaches you how to lose weight safely and effectively, at the same time acquiring skills.

Medical Qigong

Description: Five Element Medical Qigong Class

What student learns: Balance, Breathing methods, Yin Yang Balance, Chinese Medical theory, Acupuncture pressure points, The Five Elements and its related organs, Health enhancement, anti-aging and longevity Qigong exercises, Healing methods, Meditation.
